The Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamic (SPH) Method is known as a suitable approach for modeling the violent behavior of water surfaces with large deformations.
The SPH Formulations are obtained by interpolating from a set of neighboring particles using kernel Functions as Weight Functions. Choice of suitable kernel functions plays an important role in the accuracy and stability of SPH method. They should satisfy several conditions such as positivity, compact support, and normalization.
In this paper, Four Different kernel Functions that most widely used in the SPH, are assessed with draw the values of the kernel function and its derivative, and with compare advantages and disadvantages of each Function, introduce the function that have higher efficiency than other function.
